Letter of Recommendation-Negative
John Smith,
National School,

Date: 1st May, 2005.
To whomsoever it may concern:
Richard Anderson was with National School, as a physics instructor from Sept. 01, 2003, to Feb. 29, 2004. His responsibilities included children of grade V, VI and VII. During his time with us, Richard showed himself to be a less than
an ideal teacher.
Although much of the lessons Richard took were average and satisfactory, most of his assignments given, was too much an overload for the children. Many of his tests were too difficult for the grades he handled. When the management offered him constructive criticism, he showed little interest for improvement and demonstrated an overall negligence and resistance to any sort of critique of his work. Richard's attitude appears to be his major limitation.
Richard may have the potential to become an excellent teacher, however, his abhorrence to accept criticism prevents him from becoming such. I would hesitate to recommend Richard for any post where he might be required to accept commentary on his performance or be expected to show signs of improvement.
Regards,
John Smith,
Head Master,
