Cover letters play the role of life saving jackets. The corporate world is a sea, where the chance of survival is very difficult, especially in this age of recession. A good or well-written cover letter can save you in such a situation. Cover letters are useful in almost all roads of your career. Whenever you have to take a turn in your life, a cover letter acts as the guiding light.
A recommendation cover letter can be negative or positive. A positive recommendation cover letter is written by the employer of a previous organization. This letter will be a stepping stone for a new job. The reviews and comments given by the employer will be taken into consideration while considering the candidate for a particular post in the company. The below given samples provide an example for the same.
The person writing the letter can either address the person if he/she knows him/her personally or the person can also write 'to whomsoever it may concern', if it is written in general. The language of the letter has to be very formal, because the conversation is taking place between two employers. Therefore, the manners and etiquettes should be reflected in the letter also.
