There may be several reasons why you are leaving a job, such as you got a better job opportunity, due to medical reason, you want to complete you studies, you are relocating to a new place, and the company is relocating to a new location. Mention the reason for leaving the job clearly in the resignation.

For example: If the company is relocating to a new location and they have asked you to relocate. You are resigning because you don't want to shift to the new location. Mention it clearly in your letter. This lets the employer know that you were ready to work with the company if the location was not changed. Be grateful to the employer for the opportunities that they have provided. Mention what you liked about the company. Mentioning positive aspects will help to keep good relations with your employer.
